Sunday 12th July 2020

After your collection from home we depart on the morning sailing to Heysham. Onward coach journey to our overnight hotel. The Wychwood Park is set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside and surrounded by landscaped gardens.

Monday 13th July 2020

Today we travel through Wales to our holiday hotel. The Cliff Hotel & Spa has expansive, beautiful grounds. Located on the coast of Cardigan Bay overlooking Poppit Sands and Cardigan Island. This the perfect holiday destination for us to explore West Wales’ beautiful Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire Coast.

Friday 17th July 2020

We depart this morning and travel to Chester. A two night stay is taken at The Hallmark Hotel Chester The Queen. It is centrally located, just a short walk from the centre of Chester and is one of the oldest hotels in the UK, having originally been built to serve the train station in 1860. The hotel’s elegant style includes quirky touches, which provide an interesting twist to its traditional origins. All 218 stylish bedrooms are comfortably furnished, the restaurant is cosy and the bar and lounge areas are traditional in style with sofas and chairs. There is also a courtyard terrace with water features.

A free day today in Chester.

Sunday 19th July 2020

After breakfast this morning we make the journey to Heysham. The afternoon sailing is taken and on arrival in Douglas the ‘Door to Door’ service will take you home. 

The Cliff Hotel & Spa

This traditional Victorian hotel is located on a dramatic cliff top location, providing stunning views over the picturesque harbour of Fishguard Bay. The 59 bedrooms vary in size and are contemporary in style. There are is a lift to all floors but there are 3 or 4 steps at the end of some corridors and into some bathrooms. Meals are served in either the Ballroom or the main restaurant overlooking the bay and there is a bar and outside terrace offering plenty of seating. • Limited number of Ground floor rooms available on request

TOUR ITINERARY

Full day excursion to 

Enjoy a guided tour of Pembroke Castle, mighty fortress and birthplace of Henry VII. Lunch can be taken here or in the walled town of Pembroke, where it only seems fitting we visit the newly erected statue of Henry VII, in honour of the town’s most famous son.

Full day excursion to 

We spend today at leisure in the pretty picture postcard town of Tenby. Stroll around the picturesque harbour, visit the Tenby Museum and Art Gallery (admission not included) or just relax on the golden sands of this beautiful resort.

Full day excursion to –

This morning, we visit charming St David’s, the smallest city in Britain. Spend time strolling around the lanes and browsing the little shops before visiting St David’s Cathedral. For the more adventurous, enjoy a boat trip to see the caves and wildlife around this beautiful bay.

Full day in Chester –

A free day for you to do as you wish. Explore the beautiful, historic city of Chester which has the most complete city walls and largest Roman Amphitheatre in Britain, plus a 1000 year old cathedral and 700 year old unique shopping rows. Why not enjoy a river cruise on the River Dee.
