Situated on the Tay estuary, Dundee is Scotland’s sunniest city and is closer to the countryside than any other Scottish city. We will take time to explore the area and take in the Heritage and Culture of this part of Scotland.

Sunday 23rd August

After your ‘Door to Door’ home pick up we board our holiday coach at Douglas Sea Terminal. The 08:45 sailing to Heysham is taken. On arrival at Heysham we make our way to our overnight stay at the Cairndale Hotel, Dumfries. A stop will be taken en route.


Monday 24th August

Today we make our way to the outskirts of Dundee, our main stay hotel is the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel. A stop will be taken at the Loch Lomond Shores. A principal gateway to Scotland’s first National Park. It is Scotland’s most spectacular visitor destination combining the beautiful environment with an outstanding mixture of leisure and shopping experiences overlooking the majesty of Loch Lomond at Balloch.


Tuesday 25th to Sunday 30th August 

A range of daily excursions will be taken as listed in the itinerary highlights.


Monday 31st August 

The start of our journey home. We once again stay at the Cairndale Hotel, Dumfries for an overnight stay.


Tuesday 1st September

After breakfast we leave Dumfries and make our way to Heysham for the afternoon sailing back to Douglas. Our ‘Door to Door’ fleet of vehicles will meet us and take you home.
